Original on X2

I upgraded my SONAR from 5 to X2.  To familiarize myself to X2, I tried several built-in synths in this tune.  Only X2 equipped synths and effects except Garritan Personal Orchestra 4 strings.

Jun, this is very, very nice - I enjoyed the listen.   Love the way you used the panning to expand the listening room on this type of piece, and you layered so many textures here.  Some scraped the ceiling in pitch, reminding me I rarely hear such an extreme range in the majority of stuff I listen to regularly.  I don't get the sense that you just "threw this together to test X2" --  nope.  This is well constructed, soulful, and takes us on one heck of a nice journey.   CW should use your piece here to advertise X2!   Well done, I like this style a lot and you've made a fan out of me.    Thanks so much for sharing it!

Nice work Jun...  cool panning on that one synth.  I'll bet it would sound awesome in 5.1 going around the room!  I would like to have heard the piano a little louder, and that panning synth a hair softer.  Other than that, great job on something ya just "threw together"!  Which piano did you use, by the way?

    Cheers!

    Thank you, Lynn.

The UI changed a little from SONAR 5.  For example, I did not know that the scrub tool is now (j) + scrubbing.  They are a little annoying.

Thank you for your warm comment, John.
you layered so many textures here.
Thanks to my new machine, I could introduced 10 different synths and run smoothly.  Actually, the built-in synths are in much variety and it is relatively easy to construct a thick texture of sounds.  I might better introduce some trick in the ending of the tune for improvement.

Thank you very much, Tony, for your advices.

I am too lazy to explore the setup of 5.1 so far.  As for the loudness, I agree with you.

I tried "True Piano".  I found that it sounds nice depending on the surrounding sounds.

    Sincerely,
