X2 Lockup?

Greetings X2 Friends:
 
I need little help here! I am using X2 with OctaCapture as my sound card ASIO. I spoke with tech support and according to them all is set up correctly. The issue I am having is I can't record audio because the engine locks up (freezes) and then returns a few seconds later? I have installed the patch and even went as far as to delete everything and re-download the setup files. I had it working right after I downloaded and installed the files but I return this morning to do a little tracking and locking started all over again! Is anyone experiencing this and do you have any thoughts as to how I can fix this? I had no problems in X1 ever! Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Found the issue and now back to tracking. My issue with freeze ups had to do with an external backup drive I added to my system. The drive backs up files ON THE FLY and was trying to back up tracks as I was recording them. Unplugged that bad boy and now happily tracking with X2. Love the TH2 guitar sounds. Much less noisy that Guitar Rig. Good luck NI as I am now a big fan of Overload! Have a rockin' day all!

    good news :) weird that it only kicks in in x2, are you recording the files to a different hd?
