Help from Z3ta 2 whiz

So I plan on using it a lot more in the future and need to invest the time to learn how all the parameters work but right now I need someone to please tell me how to change the phasing effect with factory content/arps/crescendo in 7b FS.
It "decrescendos" so much it gets lost in the mix I'm working on...and please tell me how to do so like I'm a 5 year old.

Thanks very much,
Randy

    Randy,
this is a relatively quiet patch by Z3ta standards.. depending on how you want this to sound you can..

    a) hit the effects tab and up the eq in the upper bass (the 180hz slider)
    b) modify osc volume levels
    c) increase both filter cutoffs
    d) fiddle with offset and amount on lfo 1

    just start twiddling :)

I'm pretty sure a 5 year old would be scratching his head right now : )
Seriously I have twiddled with it.
I don't doubt one of your a-d suggestions could adjust what I'm looking for but I can't seem to find the one that does the in and out of phase thing I'm talking about...I use the the word phase because it sounds like a phaser or chorus used to me...I suppose it could be an automated eq thing too but I'd like to know which knob it is...or just turn it off

On Z3ta 2....   -- > Turn off the compressor.  Turn off the delay.

Use a compressor with a bit more kick..  Like one from the pro channel.  Add delay in your FX bin...

Your other option is:  To tweak settings on Z3ta, but you will dramatically alter the sound of the preset

No time to explain this one..  Here's a dramatically altered preset..  I might come back and explain it, after the work day

Maybe I'm just not explaining myself well...please listen to the intro to DBR theme 4 on http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=892315
(sorry I couldn't get soundcloud to upload just now for some reason).
It starts out with the patch I'm talking about and then at places (ie 00:00:18) it's totally lost in the mix.
Are you saying it's too difficult to control that sweep/phase going down so far it becomes inaudible? Surely there's an easy way to just turn that off no?
    Thanks very much,
    Randy

sorry, i assumed you were a) worried about the low volume which the eq fixes or b) the filter cutoff changes.. as there is no phaser per se in operation.. the long time period changes are being caused by the lfo's.. lfo 2 and lfo 3 are both morphing over several measures..yu can turn the down or off.. and also can adjust the arp as that is on 2 ocateves.

There is no easy way to just, "turn that off."  Its part of the modulation.   You have two choices.  A.  Change the preset dramatically. I uploaded an example of that.  B.  Turn off the compressor on z3ta.  Turn off the delay on z3ta. Use a more aggressive compressor in your arsenal, as an insert after z3ta.  Use another delay post compressor, or before compressor...
