Bug in ProChannel Leveler Compressor

I believe that I have found a bug in Sonar X2’s ProChannel.

When placing the Level compressor on a track, if you switch to another preset or compressor, and then put the Leveler compressor back on the same track again, it won’t work. The needles for gain reduction seem to verify this.

Can anyone replicate this?

No one else? I thought that I had noticed this in X1 as well.

Again, this is the ProChannel PC2A Leveler Compressor.

Works for me (insert PC2A, then remove it, use another compressor, then insert PC2A), maybe I did not get your exalt steps ?

If you list the steps in detail, I can give it another try.

Or just remove it, and then insert it again.

It is malfunctioning here consistently; a re-start of Sonar solves the problem, but switching things when working on a project cause it to go out.

    Weird.

I saw something like this over the weekend. I thought it was just something I was doing - and I don't remember the steps to recreate it.

I *did* have the Leveler Compressor just go "dead" though - a couple of times.

I just swapped it out and back in again and it was fine - but there *was* something funny going on...

Working OK here. Can't replicate your problem. Have you applied the recent quick fix? It addressed some of the ProChannel quirks.

Experienced this also; don’t remember the exact scenario. Removing and re-inserting it cures the problem.
