Graphics woes with X2

I'm having a recurring problem whereby a graphical element will "stick" on the screen when X2 is running. Can't reproduce it at will.

It's not always an X2 component that leaves the image. For instance, I just had the control screen for my VRM box hovering over X2, and when I went to select a speaker simulation from the drop down menu, a part of the menu stayed behind when it closed, as you can see from this image.

It basically stays there until I reboot the computer.

Are your graphics drivers up to date?

Are you running a separate Graphics card or are you using the MOBO Graphics?

Has anything on your system changed recently?

List your entire system specs, something might be obvious

    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1,
AMD Phenom II X6 processor, ATI Radeon HD 5800 series, 8.0GB RAM.

Graphics drivers are fully up to date, I installed the latest ones about 3 weeks ago.

Have never had this problem unless X2 is running.

It also happens when X2 crashes, like for instance if I put an instance of the CW tape sim on the master bus and X2 hangs, the name of the effect will be fused on the screen even after I kill X2.

I've seen the same especially when X2 crashes, once leaving my the project as my desktop wallpaper with icons poking through.

NVidia graphics cards x 2, up to date drivers etc... Only happened after X2 installed.

But, I'm running XP, so my problems are my problems... not complaining, just confirming :)

It's just one of many graphical anomalies with Sonar. Many programs have them but I think Sonar has the most.

And it does not matter what your graphics card is, they all behave this way.

I had 2 graphical related anomalies with X2 yesterday.

    1. When I move Sonar main window from one monitor to another, the Now Time got stuck on the first monitor and did not moved along.

    2. After rec/playback for a while, the Now Time is ahead (like 10 or 20 bars) of the actual place where it is suppose to play.

My usual reaction is to save the project, quit X2 and run again.

    3. After running for a while, the track window will not scroll along the Now Time. Now Time will move to the right and out of view. Quitting and restart X2 will be the same, only solved by rebooting Win 7. I've experienced this on X1 once.
