X1 -Bass ducks everything??

I'm trying to bring the bass up in the mix and used a bass preset(tracking leveler) for the prochannel.
Sounds great and really works but it ducks everything else under it as if I had set up a sidechain compressor on everything to it.
Then I even gave it it's own buss and added a PC preset to that(saturated concrete)and it does the same thing?
I can duck all the others by using either or both PC presets on the bass.
It's all normal without the presets. 
Neither of them has a sidechain toggle to turn off.
None of the other ducked tracks have any FX that are set to sidechaining.

Win XP, intel Core2 Duo CPU E4600 @ 2.4 GHz, 2 GHz RAM  
Nvidia gforce 8500 GT    
BR800 controller , DR880 drum machine. GR20 guitar synth, Alesis QX25 
KRK 6 + 10" sub.   Sennheiser HD280pro cans  
2 Yamaki acoustics, Korean Strat, 60's Jazzmaster, 60's BF Deluxe Reverb,

    strange one that, genuinely scratching my head here, i was going to ask if you had a compressor on the master buss, but im supposing not ??

    Yes there is, but switching it off does not help
