Redux-Light Revolution 6 (Love)

Well firstly thanks to those of you who have sent messages wondering were I was, it was nice to know I was missed.  I was off doing a a little photography apparently I am a visual artist too now. Visual arts is cool, lol. (Dr Who joke)

Ok this is a rejiged electronic track which I am sure I have posted in the past called Light Revolution 6 (Love).  This time I have turned into a classical number using Notion 3.  I am starting to get the hang of this very awsome program.  It of course was mastered in Sonar.  I have turned this peice into a "classical" peice as I am auditioning for our local conservatoruim.  I hoping to get into their compostion course.

Hope you enjoy or if not why??, I have been dishing it out so I expect some back.

Peace Ben

I can't find the right words except that it definately has a menacing yet intelligent feel...soundtrack material for sure!

Very dramatic and theatrical. Excellent production and arrangement. It will go well with a movie.

Ben, it's good to see you back.  This piece highlights your growth as a composer and arranger.  You use creative dissonance frequently, and in this song, you used it to good effect.  Dissonance is not often understood by many composers and is usually avoided.  Yet, it's just like a spice in a good spice rack.  Sometimes a litter bitterness makes the perfect counterbalance for a recipe, and in your case, it provides an emotional outlet.  You seem to be a man of many talents, and you're always interesting to listen to.  Cheers.

Revolution #9 ... the way it should have been! :)

I love this. Sounds great on headphones, I moved and don't have my Yammy's set up.

The melody line (if that's what you can call it) sounds like one of your other songs ...

Hope all is well you crazy bastard! LOL! Good to see you around again.

Nice , my popcorn exploded and my five cats ran for cover . LOL Thats some type of music you created Ben !

It has a sense of darkness to it and would sound great in a movie , nice job creating this musical piece .

    Hi, Ben,

Good to see you back around!  This sounds very different than the version that I remember from a while back, but it sounds really good.

The orchestration sounds good, and the arrangement and mix would definitely fit as a "sinister" cinematic theme for a suspenseful movie.

    Nice work!

Thanks guys, I think film music might be where I am heading in terms on my career.  Popular music just doesn't interest me at the moment but I suppose that is the great thing about music you never know where the inspiration will come from or where it will take you.

Ah maybe I do enjoy the journey!!

    Peace Ben
