PRView instruction vids?

Any links to videos on how to input and tweak in PRView?
(I'm learning how to input SI Bass with a mouse cuz I don't have a MIDI keyboard yet)
At this point I can put in and remove 1/4 notes only. Looking for finer detail.

Not sure about video's, but you can select the inserted notes from the icons in the toolbar at the top of the PRV.
You can also draw in notes of random duration by selecting the draw tool.
Click the "Show Controller Pane' icon to reveal velocity control.

ps.You're going to love what your controller brings to the table. I can't imagine being without mine.

I see icons on an old Sonar 8 video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-xuVUcQ7T4) but I don't see them on my X1 PRV.
    Is there a hidden view?

Note length in X1 is preset by the draw resolution which can be set in the tool module of the control bar or in the HUD (Press T). It's set in the box at the bottom right of those areas.

They can also be edited after the event by using the smart tool and click dragging toward the end of the note. You can then stretch or shrink the note.

In X2 it is now possible to drag the length of the note required as well.

If you don't mind paying, Groove3 has some good videos on X2 that cover the PRV. I think you can buy just one set of videos (like Sonar X2 for example), or get an all access pass to their entire library for a month, year, whatever...

While we're promoting videos...shameless plug coming up........

The SWA video that I authored also has two chapters totalling about 20 minutes on PRV editing mainly with the smart tool. It is still on special in the cakewalk store I believe. I never mentioned it earlier because it is on X2 which is a little different to X1.
