upgrading from sonar 7 to sonar 8

once I have loaded sonar 8 onto my computer that has sonar 7 on it  can I just remove 7? It seems to have moved all fils and vsts etc over.....Or should I keep it on the computer. As it takes up a good bit of space it'd be good to get it off. Thanks!!

Unless you are really desperate for space I'd leave it on there.

If you are really desperate then it's time for a bigger disc.

Look under Options>Global>Folders in both versions of Sonar to see where the various resource files are stored.  You can consolidate some of these folders and have both versions pointing to the same place in each case.

The Sonar program itself takes up very little space.
