while installing ,suddenly window popped over every single audio file which is included with sonar (samples) ,saying the files are corupted. I usewd the same install data I downloaded some weeks ago ......omg ......can I soemhow reinstall the X2´s audio content manualy?

I don't quite understand the situation from your explanation (I got that it's gone)

Can you re-explain or elaborate on the 'window popped' thing?

And before you take any action - anything that may have gotten deleted SHOULD have gone to the trash can, unless the content is too big for it.

Are you looking in Sonar at audio folder contents (lack of)?  Or are you looking through the Windows Explorer?  I am just wondering if it created a new folder somewhere.

Yes .

As I tryed 2 install X2 Pro. 64 bit on my W7 ultimate PC which allready had X2 32bit on it ; during the installation a dialog box popped up , saying that the file (in this case some sample clip from the sample content loopmasters ) is corupted and cant be read . It let me choose if i rather ignore , retry or abort the installation .......
I then clicked on retry , still couldnt handle the file. Then I pushed ignore ,so it went on to the very next sample of the content ; which also was unreadable. I then aborted the installation .
Funny ,I used the same install files as I did 2 weeks before with the X2 32bit installation.
Then opening my project in X2 32 bit , and found out that X2´s sample content (in the tab called "Audio Library" was empty , and only my own loops were still there . So the attempted X2 64x install ,has deleted them all . (or moved them ? )
I wonder if I can reinstall the X2 audio library manualy somehow .

thank you and kindest regards

I ran into the same problem with the "corrupt" message.  A reboot allowed me to do the install with the exact same installers.

I think that when you clicked abort the installer "cleaned up after itself" by deleting anything that it may have possibly installed; in this case it was the samples in the Audio Library.

Just a theory.

I'm sorry for your problems... but for the vast majority of users, the installation process was/is quick and easy.  With this and other posts of yours I'm wondering if you should even be using a computer....

Edit: Sorry if this sounds too negative.  I guess my problem is your wording.  "...advanced installation THEY made for us..." Sounds like you're implying that Cake has caused your problems which is not the case.

Heroics, if your installation is still not clean, at this point I would suggest you give tech support a phone call and literally have them walk you through a COMPLETE removal of all traces of whatever is currently installed, and then do an install from scratch.

I don't know if anybody here can help figure out what to fix since it is quite unclear as to what the shape of the current install is.

I think it would be a LOT faster and a LOT less stressful to just get it cleanly off your system and properly put back on.

Just a thought,
