building keyswitches into custom session drummer 3 kit

i'm trying to build articulations into sfz files for session drummer 3 using keyswitching options. for example on the snare pad having a file with keyswitches that switches between rolls and flams and lr hits but can't seem to get the switching working in sd3 even though it works in dimension.  can this be done??  thanks!
