Where is the X2 Mute Tool?

Ok, maybe I'm "daft," as they say in England, but I can't find the mute tool on the control bar.  The Help entry for "muting clips" in X2 shows a button for the mute tool and states that it is on the control bar (no more specific than that).  However, I cannot see it, even with all control bar modules enabled.  Where is it supposed to be?  In which module?

Muting clips or portions of clips is much harder in X2 than in X1.  I used to be able to split a clip in a layer, select one of the split sections, then just hit Q for mute.  Now Q brings up a quantize dialog box.  Lame!!  Also, X1 lets you right click on the clip and select Mute clip.  Neither of these actions
are possible in X2.  Lame!!!!

Instead, it seems that one must rely on the mute tool, which I cannot find. Sure, I see the "mute all tracks" button next to the solo all tracks button, but that's not the mute tool.

It was much easier in general to comp sections of clips in layers in X1.  The track lanes and relying this mute tool (if it actually exists) is a work-flow problem for me.

K mutes clips otherwise right click one of the toolbar buttons which changes it to mute tool- not at my DAW, can't tell you which one. I'm sure the online help guide will provide you the answer.

Open up help with f1, goto search box, enter Mute, read information...

Right-click the Erase tool or press F10 to cycle through the Erase and Mute tools.
