To form a band or to collaborate on a song? If the latter, there are some good ones represented in the Songs forum.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Dave: Thanks. I have songs intended for rock musicals so neither of the above. It would be a once-off deal with money for the right person or persons. They show up, they sing, they get paid, they bugger off again. BTW: I haven't got around to thanking you for your response to my 'Squishy Brass' post - thanks for that. I figured I'd want a fast attack setting for stabs rather than for swells. rev This looks good at first glance: http://www.bandmix.com/

It would be a once-off deal with money for the right person or persons. They show up, they sing, they get paid, they bugger off again.

If you are happy for the vocalist to record himself/herself rather than visit your studio, then you could make use of one of the online musicians' collaboration sites, e.g.:

    www.indabamusic.com

    www.musicianscollaboration.com

    www.kompoz.com

    www.digitalmusician.net

    indiemusicworks.com

This way you would not be restricted to your local area.
