MIDI Latency

I don't know why, but I suffered from Midi latency quite badly with X1 and tried everything to remedy it. I wrote on the forum a got a host of suggestions and got it better, but not right. I just installed X2 and the latency problem has blown away. Brilliant

Gear;-4 copper kettles-a large dustbin-a piece of string and a cotter pin. I keep a spring on standby

Clearly the kettles weren't boiling in sync.

I have 4 copper kettles now and thinking upgrading to 8. I only have 4 gas burners, which means buying another hob. I replaced the spring with a cotter pin, but keep the spring on standby.
