Hey, Chron, sorry this happend to you, too.
I had exactly the same problem, but I couldn't get anyone to tell me how to do a hard reset.
Cakewalk just told me to take it to an authorized repair facility. Although it was under warranty, that didn't cover botched firmware upgrades. I'm lucky because there's a great musical instrument repair place in Denver called MARS Amplifier Repair. They keep my Marshall stack humming. They had it three days, and it came out perfect WITH the new firmware installed. I don't remember how much they charged, but I couldn't complain.
