Mute Tool

Hi,
Is it just me, or does the mute tool in X2 seem to be a bit less accurate, and does not
seem to work as as it used to in X1 ?  Or is it just me, and I'm doing something wrong ?

Thanks
John

Remember it will follow snap settings including the audio zero crossing point if selected, that can throw it off a little as can landmarks.

Right click on the landmark icon, that'll take you to snap to preferences. There's an option to uncheck/check there.

If checked the snap will actually happen at the nearest zero audio crossing point which can be a little off from the snap resolution.

It's handy if you are splitting clips as it will reduce the chances of pops and crackles at the split point.

Yea, got that, but I still think it was a lot more accurate in X1, I still can't get that tiny little bit of audio
even if  that box is ticked or not, also thinking about it, the timeline does not seem as accurate either, as in
X1, I'm sure you could use the timeline more accurately. Is this just me ?

I can't say I've noticed any difference. Do you mean when selecting or just moving data?
