Ultrabooks for SONAR X1/X2?

Is anyone familiar with whether or not an ultrabook will be adequate for running SONAR as the primary dedicated workstation? This includes recording, mixing, mastering of large and CPU intensive projects and also mixing down these projects.

A typical high-end ultrabook, which is what I'm considering, has the following specs:
• 3rd gen Intel Core i7-3517U (1.90GHz/3.00GHz) dual-core
• 8GB RAM
• 256GB SSD

Please let me know if an ultrabook like this will be enough to use as a primary DAW system. Thanks!

with a usb interface it should work ok as long as DPC latency doesnt suck
since they are all about battery life i would imagine all power saving features are very tweaked and on
this is exactly what causes DPC issues..
