Windows 8 support for Cakewalk hardware?

Will existing Windows 7 drivers for the V-Studio 100 work in Windows 8?

In Windows 8 Pro, when installing a Cakewalk UA-25EX interface, the windows 7 driver installation freezes every time so don't even bother with it. I am just reporting that the vistaX64 driver works if you run it in compatibility mode for "vista (service pack 2)" and as "administrator". You can even leave the "Advanced Driver" switch set to on. I hope this helps others resolve this annoying issue.

The UA-55 Quad Capture now has v1.5.1 which introduces W8 support.

It's available from the Roland US site but currently not the UK one if anyone here needs it.

I'm finding under Windows 7 the v1.5.0 driver is still working better than the newer one mind you.
