Need help with importing audio

Hi, I recently purchased new monitors and would like to re-tweak an old project that I converted to MP3. I'm trying to import it but haven't had any luck. Anybody have a suggestion? Also, I re-tweaked another project and when I tried to mix down to a file I got a mixdown abort message. Again, any suggestions? Thanks!

    If you make it a .wav file you can import it. However it will still have any modifications you made to the file.

    merhere, Thank you for replying. I got a MP3 converter downloaded and got it converted to WAV. Problem solved!
