First impression Windows 8 (64bit) and Sonar X2 Producer

I have just installed Windows 8 and wondering how it would work with Sonar.

Even though that Cakewalk stated that it would work very well, I wasn't sure, I mean, we all have issues with drivers from 3rd party vendors, hardware setups etc.

However, I must say, so so good. It works flawless!! It runs faster, smoother, and more stable. So far everything has been improved from Windows 7.

Great !!

For what I am reading on this forum is the SONAR X2 has no issues after migrating to Windows 8. As per third party hardware drivers, is anyone using the Tascam US1800 audio interface with Windows 8? does the current drivers work? I went to Tascam website and no drivers were updated. Thanks.

My MOTU Ultralite MK3 Hybrid is found. Works perfectly. Should be the same drivers for you I believe.

Have you installed the latest drivers?

Hi, I've got a profire 610 and am testing windows 8. How did you get yours to work? Which windows 7 driver did you use? Did you follow the windows 7 installation instructions? Did you have to mess with your firewire card? Thanks
