Presonus FS26 - R.I.P.

It bit the dust this afternoon. Solid red light, capacitors prolly.

Oh dear, have had to turn on-board sound on and (sob) use a combi of Asio4All and Realtek. Woe is me.

Adieu mon ami ......

Yours most upsetly,
Jerry

    Sorry to read that, man.

Gives me a feeling of dejà vu - like, I've never really paid too much attention but it suddenly seems like I've read quite a few stories of Presonus hardware just dying unexpectedly.

Many thanks for the kind thoughts. And it would happen on a Saturday.....

Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56, payment in 3 lots (ouf). France is good for this kind of thing.

I really liked the pre-amps of Presonus.

    Cheers,
    Jerry

I've only owned two interfaces in my life so I don't have a lot of experience but darned if Focusrite isn't a great company. Love my Scarlett.
