Can you explain more in detail what's not working for you? If you have a pro channel with more modules than can fit into your screen, and you select the channel and scroll with the wheel, nothing happens?

Hey GIM! Don't think it will. I have the same mouse set up on a Nuendo station at work - so I can't confirm what you see with Sonar because I don't have it installed on that machine. However, none of the mouse wheel functions work in Nuendo when pressing the right button and moving the ball. It doesn't even move the track view in Nuendo. My guess is that the function in set point are limited to simple scroll functions for websites, office programs and other mundane apps

Ah now I get it, you don't have a wheel on that trackball. I'm guessing universal scroll is something that mimics the scroll wheel, could well be that Sonar doesn't support it, I did a google search and there seem to be many problems with it in other programs to. If you can afford it, I'd suggest getting a Logitech M570, I have one for my secondary monitor and it's a great trackball, you really want a wheel on your trackball, it makes things much easier and easier on your thumbs.

I never found Logitec's "universal scroll" to work very well with many things. I'm currently using the wired Kensington Orbit trackball (with wheel) and the wheel just works with everything using the standard MS mouse drivers. Just wish it had a third button :-( One thing I've found works well with X2 is my Wacom Bamboo touch-capable graphics tablet - more hand movements involved than with a trackball, but still way less RSI inducing than a mouse.
