Groove3 or SWA instructional video for the X2

Can anyone make a recommendation for one video over the other? Thanks.

    Both excellent. FBB (the SWA one) goes into quite a bit more detail if you are just becoming aquainted with X2.

    I like them both and I have learned different things from each one. I have older Sonar videos that are great for advanced tricks and tips in X2 as well. X1 advanced workshop and Advanced workshop the next level were made for x1, but all the same things can be applied to X2. You can probably get them for a discount now.

    So which do I like better Grove 3 or SWA. The truth is I like them both about the same. Grove 3 is cut into small sections that total about 6 hours. the SWA video is about 9 hours. It has chapters but they don't show up in Windows media player. I just recently got that one and I am still going thru it. I just mark the time section where I want to stop in the slider and start there when I am ready to go on. 

    Don't forget to check out the cakewalk university in the community section of cakewalk. There are a lot of great videos in there for free that will help explain things.

    Do you think there would be an interest in a video that would detail all the steps and procedures in a full audio production?

    I was thinking of doing a video that would go something like this...

    1. Downloading SONAR from your web account
    2. Installing
    3. Setup (audio drivers, bufferes, folders, etc...)
    4. Live acoustic drum micing. Mic placement, channel routing, gain staging...
    5. Mic up the rest of band (bass, guitar, vocals, etc...)
    6. Actually do the tracking. (Punch-ins, metronome, overdubs, etc...)
    7. Re-amping with guitar, detailed mic placement
    8. Editing. Basic editing, creating sources to feed gates for drums, Audio Snap, etc...
    9. Mixing. Routing, gain staging, busses, paralell compression
    10. Mastering

    This would all be in extreme detail exclusively using SONAR X2 and native SONAR plugs.

    This would be real audio from tracking to finished product. I could also have a place to download the raw tracks so others can mix along with the video or do their own thing.

    Do you think there would be any interest in this or would I be wasting my time by doing something like this?

    A note: If I did something like this, I would go all out for pro quality at every step. With a full effort like this, I would obviously be interested in some financial gain from it all. So please keep that in mind. I am sure people would be curious to see it all, but would they remain curious enough to actually pay for something like this? Just wondering.
