the doggy barking in the back ground
I don't know how many times it's gonna get me. Go Go was barking yesterday while I had SONAR recording a just for fun jam session. Each time I listen to the one song we seemed to do well I get up and go try to find out what the dog is barking at... but then I figure out that he's asleep on the couch. Good times. :-) best, mike

I guess it is freedom for dogs instead of freedom for humans.

You'll just have to sample Go Go. Then he'll at least be in time with the music. Remember there was once a hit single featuring dogs barking "Jingle Bells"? That was painstakingly done with tape and a razor blade. A GOGO.NKI would be much simpler.
All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to. My Stuff

Yeah... I hate that... I listen to some of my stuff on my MP3 player and for example.... in the Missing person tune at 2:06 with headphones when I'm not really focusing on the music....I swear I hear a phone ringing on the left side..... but in a detailed analysis of the tracks.... it's not real. I think it is how several of the tracks and the ringing notes play against each other.... gets me every time.... I have, more than once, hit pause and grabbed for the cell phone thinking it was ringing....

I wish I would get a dog bark sometime. All I get are the toilet flushes down the hall.Doesn't blend very well with my material most of the time.

Couldn't you use some strategically placed computer monitors to screen out the barking while you record?

The dog premonitions are not uncommon lately. Go-Go is a ... sub woofer. Is it cage the bass, or cage the beast? I don't know...

Count yourself lucky it's only dog barks. I have a macaw and an african grey. The macaw screams bloody murder when he's in a good mood. Anytime there's something loud he wants in on the action. A good squawk near me and my ears are ringing. Then there's the grey, he's not loud at, all but can mimic every doorbell, microwave dings, kitchen timers, car horns, and he also takes a stab at mimicking the macaw, neighborhood dogs, magpies, crows, seagulls and the neighbors screaming kids. Both of them can say the danish equivalent of "shut up", it can be quite funny when the macaw is going full tilt with the grey going "SHUT UP"

But... it could be one of those high frequency tweeters..... they are especially irritating. On the other hand..... I hear that dog, properly cooked, is a real tasty treat..... according to some guy in Washington....
