Anyone Using X2 and ProjectMix?

So I created a dual-boot partition(s) on my system (specs in signature and yes it's a little outdated, plan on upgrading soon) with Win XP for X1 and Win 7 SP1 for X2 - Both 32-bit.  Did a fresh install of Win 7 and SP1, fresh install of all drivers and a fresh install of X2.

The reason I did this was to check out the new version while maintaining X1 and all my projects.

I'm not getting the performance with X2 that I get with X1, including cracks and pops in X2 for the same project with the same latency setting and was wondering if it might be the system being a little lite on power??

The project is only 9 audio tracks including:
1 stereo track for Drums
1 stereo track for Organ
1 mono track for Bass
3 mono tracks for Guitar
3 mono tracks for Vocals

I am only using 2 Sonitus delays and the rest are UAD-1 effects.  ProChannel is turned off on all tracks.

Any questions let me know.

Thanks!

Is there any particular reason you're not going with the 64 bit version of Windows & Sonar?

I plan to go 64-bit when I get a new system and UAD plugs go 64-bit.  Plus the version of Win 7 I have is 32-bit.  SInce this was really just to test/play with X2 I didn't want to spring for the 64-bit version.
