SONAR X2 R-Mix: Remix / Remaster Case Study

For anyone wondering just how useful and unique this tool is, here is a real world case study of remixing and remastering using RMix in SONAR X2. Th e difference we achieved after the remix is quite remarkable - and all that work was done starting from just a stereo wave file - no multitrack stuff! Thanks to Eric Hansen for the great work he did on this project.

Interesting stuff. The contrast between the original version and the remastered version is quite stunning.

Interesting read. I would like to see an in depth RMix video by Cakewalk when time permits. It looks like it could be useful at times, I just haven't figured out how to use it. I'll play around with it now and see if I can get it to work. I also find his console emulation opinions interesting...I can't really tell much difference in them to be honest.
