X1 channel Interleave buggy?

Hi

I have been trying out X1 and am digging it so far. But I am having a weird problem.

I switch the track 1 interleave to mono, as needed. But I leave the Master bus on Stereo. When playing the track in Sonar, it sounds as it should. But when I export to a WAV file, the Interleave on track 1 switches to Stereo. And playing the wav file sounds as though stereo was on the whole time.

I have tried different things, such as converting a track to mono and using mono effects in the FX bin for track 1. No change. Seems like a glitch. Any ideas?

What options are you selecting in the Export dialog box?

Sonar will only export exactly what you tell it - I've never known an export to change the interleave status of a track.

Are you selecting "Tracks" as your source and "Stereo" as your output? I bet that's what's happening.

Choose "Main Outs" as your source and export again
