That Time Already?

Saturday Nov 3rd

Set the clocks back reminder

This is the time I like to do the things we most forget about

Change Batteries in Thermostats
Change Batteries in Fire Alarms
Change Air Filter in Furnace
Change Whole House and Faucet Water Filters
Check out the Furnace real good

and so on.....

Spring Forward and Fall Back

What do you do this time of year to be prepared for whatever?

I'm tired of this Spring Rusty, Fall Down stuff.  I bet the Mayans didn't have to set their clocks all the time.

Bubba, could you look into that?  Thanks.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot--hey, who the hell are you guys?

I think there's like 18 or so clocks of one variety or the other in this house.....not counting the vehicles

    Bedroom: 3 clocks & 1 thermostat
Master bath: floor heat thermostat & Bose clock radio
    Kitchen: oven, microwave, radio/tv
house: alarm (usually don't reset) & main thermostat
den: TV, receiver, DVD, VCR ( i don't often reset any of those) wall clock
    dining room: wall clock
upstairs: desk clock, studio clock, thermostat 2 alarm clocks in bedrooms

the computer and cell phones are the ones that change by themselves

Daylight Saving Time was introduced by Germany during the First World War to help conserve coal. Britain and most of its allies followed suit and adopted the practice.

The Windows computer does it automatically when it happens. I thought it was Nov. 10th-11th though.

    Ach, ja... Der Coalgesavingen Zeit

It's all a bit stoopid really...there's the same amount of daylight no matter what 'time' we say it is.

    What's "daylight"?

Is that when I turn on all the lights in the studio?
