Boss VE-20, Any Thoughts?

  Hey guys, im thinking of replacing my UX2 with The Boss VE-20, so what u guys think? is it a good device? im gonna use this mainly For recording vocals (hard rock n metal) , i got the sennheiser E835-s and will get the Shure SM7B.. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

    I've not used either the UX2 or the VE-20, but neither of them will give the same performance as a decent dedicated interface.

    Neither company is actually renowned for their mic pre's. You might get passable results but you might also be disappointed

    Try to arrange to audition a few in your price range

    i just dunno man, the thing is im stuck with the ux2 and if i wanna change this, i got an offer to replace it with the Boss ve-20 or i might just buy another product which could be the Sennheiser MK4 but i just dunno, is it good enough for hard rock vocals? thats why i prefered the SHURE SM7B Over the MK4, its confusing..
