Transferring Projects From One Computer to the Next

Hi! I'm planning on getting a new computer soon and hope to transfer my files on Sonar LE 4 to the new computer. I'm aware you can save the files as Cakewalk bundle files, but the problem is that I tend to make heavy use of third-party VSTi's. I know I'll have to install them on this instance of Cakewalk, but I was wondering if there was any other tips or general advice I should know before attempting to transfer the files. Also, after I get situated on my new computer, I hope to invest in Music Creator 6. Will the update affect my files? Will it cause conflict with the other version of Sonar? I was hoping that the two would be interchangeable and take the same file extensions, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Any and all assistance will be very much appreciated!

What I would do is get the new computer, take the hard drive out of the old computer and put it in a hard drive enclosure.
Then connect the enclosure to the new computer and open each project from the enclosure and save it on the new computer's hard drive.
If you plan on using the old computer for something, just pop the hard drive back in it. If not, just leave it connected to the new computer. Doing that, you wouldn't have to open each song and save it to the new hard drive, but they would be available for you to work on. Then save the new work on the new hard drive.
There should be no problem having MC 6 and SONAR LE 4 on the same computer. Depending on how old SLE 4 is, the file extensions might be different, but MC 6 will still be able to open them. But, if you save the old song with MC 6's format, you won't be able to open them in SLE 4. Presuming the extensions are different.
