reason 6.5

Is it true that Reason 6.5 cannot be run as a Rewire instrument in X1?  What about X2?

    It looks like X1d introduced 64-bit support for Reason, and the above two links speak to that.  I would imagine that X2 would continue that support, since they just put it in with the X1d patch for X1.

    who told you that rubbish? I'm guessing they are clueless and don't know how to set it up 


    they probably made the common mistake of mixing 32 and 64 bit.. (by default 6.5 installs 64 bit.. *IF* a 64 bit windows..  if you want to use it as 32 bit, you also have to install it using a switch.. I guess some folk are too lazy to read instructions) and I doubt rewire 64 bit will run inside of sonar 32 bit.

    I use 64-bit Reason with 64-bit Sonar X2 with zero problems; actually, they seem to be quite fond of each other

    you can also install  *BOTH* 32 and 64 versions of reason on the same machine also, each one will work with each version of sonar , but have to match. (i.e. both 32 or 64)
