rm5700-  Cool tune bro!  I'm on my laptop, so I can't say much about mix, etc... but it sounds great on the lappy.

Nice demo of the Saurus.  I love battery drums also.  Good job!

    Cheers!

Lately you have been giving us some good demonstrations of your synth, and I must say, they've been impressive.  This is no exception.  You've created a nice soundscape which showcases your arrangement skills.  I think it's time for a full course meal which I know will be very tasty.

    All the best,

     Hi m5700,

The arrangement here is very well done. The transition and blending fits well as do the drum parts. The  synth sounds are cutting through the mix  well. Maybe a little more of a build to the end. I didn't hear a lot of  varying dynamics. I did hear what sounded like an envelope toward the ending of the song. Great playing enjoyed the listen.

This one was a bit pressed for time. It had to be completed before a certain date.  It was a demo submission for a new soundset that was about to come out. Actually now, it IS out (hehe) so no secret there.

Tone2 is working on another big project, and they wanted anyone doing demos for the soundset to try to get them done by that certain date. Anyway, long story short, it wasn't much time, but I spent as much time (before and after my day-job) as I could on this one. It turned out to be a lot of mixing, automation, etc. to get it just how I wanted.

It would have been longer, but again that's a time thing, so, there it is.  Maybe for the next one it will be a 6-7 minute kind of range.

    Thanks a lot Starise

It might not have a huge range in volume dynamics, but it uses a good amount of automation/envelopes for other things. Another thing I forgot to mention to Lynn: I wasn't allowed to use external effects or compressors for the demo submission. It's to show what can be done just with what's in Saurus, there are 10 instances for this one.

    Here's one section of it:

Wow!  Very interesting.  I have no idea what all those things are that you are using but I think I should get some.  I'm getting bored with blues/rock (oh, sure) and am going to learn keyboard and get some of these thingys.  Sounds really good, rm.
