Mixing projects (using tracks from one to another) X2

Is there any way to copy a track from one project and paste it into another?

Obviously I can mixdown and save audio tracks as wav and bring it in, but what about an entire track? say I have a vsti with a few effects and prochannel set for it and I want to import it into another project, anyway to do this?

I have gotten smart and created a template that has some common elements that I always use when I start a new project, but there always seems to be something I want from my older projects and I can't get it easily.

Use a Track Template, not a Project Template

Yep, if you just need the track parameters, use the Track Templates feature.

If you want to import all the data from a project, you can drag and drop a project file from the Browser into your current project to import all the tracks.
