Clips acting erraticly

I'm getting some weird things going on with clips lately.

Just now, I couldn't split clips anymore, tried S, tried context click split, tried the clip tool.. nothing worked. I looked at the undo history and all the failed splits I tried was there.

Restart Sonar and split works again.

Now all of a sudden, if I move a MIDI clip to another MIDI track, as soon as I release the clip when dragging it, the clip jumps to a random MIDI track and not the one I dragged it to, or it just disappears, this doesn't go away if I restart Sonar. If I copy and then paste the clip, it goes where I want it, but if dragging the clip it jumps to another track, or sometimes it just vanishes.

I tried testing a bit.

If I drag a clip to a track above, it jumps to another track above, not the one I dragged it to.
if I drag a clip to a track below, it jumps to the next track below the one I dragged it to.
If I drag a clip from the first MIDI track to the MIDI track right below it, Sonar creates a totally new MIDI track and puts the clip there.

What in the world is going on here?
