New song demo - Invisible - advice much appreciated

Thanks so much for the feedback on previous songs. It has been hugely helpful.

This is my latest demo
http://www.reverbnation.com/itsadequate/song/15056951-invisible-demo

This one is just me multitracked.
The song is about the impact of invisible disability (like many of my songs). It is intended to build up, then to gradually grind to a halt (I'm hoping to put it at the end of an album).

Any advice/suggestions would be much appreciated. I'm finding the mixing a bit tricky.

You've given us a very soulful song, and I enjoyed listening to  it.  The mix is spacious and well balanced.  Your guitar playing reminded me of David Gilmour, but your voice is unique and very emotive.  The synth pads that you used are lovely, and fit the song perfectly.  When you combine all this with a smart arrangement (and yours is), you've got a hit.

All the best,
Lynn

Pretty song.  Very Floydsy until the vocal starts.  This is a very cool song.  Well played and recorded.   The part at 2:30 might have too many "invisibles" without lyric change.  Make sense?  Like maybe you could throw in a few other words or something.  Look, that could just be me.

Thanks very much for your kind feedback. I take the point about the excess of invisibles. My wife thinks so too. For me the idea was that it is a frustrating unrelenting experience which is reflected in the repetetive lyrics (on the other hand frustrating and repetitive may not be much fun to listen to...).

Best wishes,
Malcolm

Malcolm,
Nice job on this tune.  The intro buildup and your guitar playing in general definitely have that Pink Floyd/Gilmour feel but you made it your own.  At first the drums felt a little too far back in the mix to me but as I listened they fit well.  The vocals were well down and fit good in the mix.  Nice job all around on this one.  Sounds like it is done to me.

I like the emotion and the feel of this song. The tone of the guitar is pretty good, and it seems that everything sits well in this mix. The guitar riffs are not over done but they seem to work with the song to project the very feeling the song puts forth. To many invisibles at one point but overall you did a great job.
