Alesise Q49 keyboard controller

I am purchasing an A300 Pro but have an offer too good to pass up on an Alesis Q49 keyboard controller as well. Will X1 Producer 'talk' to the Alesis once drivers are dowloaded or should I just not bother getting it? Thanks!

The Q49 is a very simple midi controller - keys, velocity fader, mod wheel and pitch wheel. There isn't much to be done in terms of configuration or assignment. I'm not using Sonar, but on my platform, it works just as expected.

Thanks Rain! I plan to take advantage of the array of plug in i.e. Dimension Pro within Sonar. I’ve been told that while certain controllers have more features than others, the device is simply a way to communicate to the software. So long as that’s true, seems the Alesis should be just fine. Thanks again!

Keep in mind that the polarity of the sustain pedal input is reversed from most other brands!
