If I'm going to pay that sort of price, i'd at least want some latency back.

The interesting thing is that they are making 3rd party items for a 'competing' product. Never mind it's another LA-2A emu.

Jonbouy The interesting thing is that they are making 3rd party items for a 'competing' product. Never mind it's another LA-2A emu. I saw that too. Could it be a generic VST and they just used Reason to test it?

So can it be used outside of the propeller head product line? Because if it were tied to them I'd like to know the reason behind that.

The reason behind RE's and PC modules is so that you have to buy another version for each app. you want to use it on. Simples. Actually there are some RE's that can't be done as VST's because they use control voltages too but this isn't one of those.
