Looking for Modern/Chart Samples, Drum Sounds, Loops etc...

Hi All
 
I have been a very happy SONAR 8.5 Producer user and have been working hard to achieve a "real" band sound
 
I am happy that I can now achieve this
 
I now want to "modernise" my sounds to be able to pitch commercial sounding demos
 
I am therefore looking for a method to achieve modern sounding beats, synths and samples (I know there is a lot more to it than finding samples but this is where I want to start!)
 
I have played with BOOM on a friends Pro Tools system and I thought the sounds on this were awesome
 
I can't find an equivalent on SONAR - I had a quick play with the Groove Synth and some of the electronic Session Drummer kits but they don't seem to "cut it"
 
I have been looking at the Hit Kit v3 ( http://www.popmusic.dk/hitkit-us.html ) which looks like it has everything I am looking for
 
Unfortunately it looks like it uses "EXS Compatible Banks" - after a bit of research it looks like none of the SONAR samplers support this EXS format
 
Their website list SONAR as a compatible DAW so I have emailed for some clarification on how I would use their samples
 
Does anyone have any other ideas / recommendations?
 
I have not really got into using external samples within SONAR's samplers - should I be looking for SFZ sample packs??
