Can anyone recommend the Melda Production FREE audio plugins?

I came across these free audio plugins from Melda Productions.  I'm wondering if anyone has had any trouble or good luck with them.  Some experts have warned against some of these free plugins and I don't want to be one of them.  If you have any experiences with them, please opine!

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left...

The only issue I had with them in X2, is when typing numerical values in the plug-ins it changes screen sets in Sonar! Annoying more than anything.

I have that set of plugins and they aren't bad. I bought them to get the added features though.

I have used and still use from time to time the free Meldas. Mainly because they came in 64 bit versions when not many plugin companys had jumped on the 64 bandwagon yet. The only reason I didn't buy the upgrades was because the Bakers started rolling out the PC stuff. They still come in handy every once in a while. Great quality, haven't experienced any bugs whatsoever, and they're free! Go get 'em!

I use the free Melda analyzer, and like it way better than the stock analyst.

    Absolutely no issues here.

I use the free melda plugins all the time.

    Love them.

    Work very well with X2.

Trying to think of a problem I've had, or something I don't like about them ... there's nothing that comes to mind. The limiter is the best I've ever used, but I'm extremely conservative when it comes to limiting, so the differences I see between any of them are minimal. But ... when testing, and really driving them, Melda sounds the best to me.

I have them but don't actually use them, not because there's anything wrong with them, just that I have other stuff that's better. If you really need those basic effects, they're not bad at all. MLimiter is especially interesting, not because it's an especially great limiter but because of the control over harmonic distortion for dirtying stuff up.

There is one Meldaproductions plugin that I do use that isn't part of the free bundle but is inexpensive, and that's MDynamicEQ. I haven't found anything else quite like it for mitigating unwanted resonances.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
