X1 Learning

So for those of us just getting into learning the world of mixing and mastering

Would you say that if we figured it all out in X1 as far as cleaning up tracks, proper gain staging, processes, F/X, and everything that goes with polishing a song that moving into X2 will be a dream/piece of cake?

Or is it an entirely new world for a beginner?

X1 will keep you busy for a long time.  And if you get it all figured out, X2 should be a walk in the park...in my opinion.

I used X1 for 18 months before upgrading, and I probably know only 25% of it!   LOL  But I got a pretty good handle on what mixing (and to some degree mastering) is all about.  Now if I could just get a good handle on all the bells and whistles like Step Sequencing, R-Mix, etc...

Welcome to our world my friend!!!!!!!!

    Cheers!
