Does X2 remember midi note duration in the PRV?(SOLVED: Yes, X1 remembers also)

I'm using X1d expanded. I double-click on the grid in the piano roll view to enter a note. In past versions of Sonar, it would just put a note that was at the last length you had placed. Now, it defaults to a standard length, and it's driving me crazy. Is there something I'm missing, or is this broken?

Is that in X2? I'm not seeing it in X1.

Bottom of the list in the note duration drop-down?

I thought that was added in X1d...  or was it Expanded.    Hmmm...

Yes it was definitely not the original X1 release, 'cos I remember everyone complaining about it.

    'C'. 'D' or Expanded I reckon

Just to be sure..   you are looking at duration and not snap, correct?

That did it! Thank you swamptooth, and everyone else that helped. I was searching all over the PRV, not outside of it.

Remember note duration is just a click away wherever you are (middle mouse button for the HUD).

I'd love to see the HUD idea expanded a little more, that is a great feature introduced in X1 that is often over looked IMHO.

I suppose I should also mention that pressing "T" does the same thing for those without a middle mouse button.

The HUD and floating inspector are two things I use all the time. T & I are starting to fade on my qwerty.

i didnt rely on that because i had hotkeys assigned so i didnt have to click through menus. im really glad those bindings still work in x2 unlike keybindings for snap to options.
