Major issue with product registration
Hi guys, I'm new here and wondered if someone could help me please? It would be even better if someone from customer support could contact me, if possible; here's my problem. I bought Cakewalk Sonar X1 Essentials and when I tried to register the product, it said something like "We've been able to register your product but we could not send an email to confirm" or something like that. This means I don't have the registration code to activate my software.
Right, so I followed the links available for 'lost registration code' and there are three options.
1) Use Cakewalk Store Account - I don't have one, I bought the software from Amazon.
2) Use your product serial number and email address - When I try that I get the following - "We could not find your registration code.For further assistance please contact Cakewalk Customer Service at 1-888-CAKEWALK or via email"
3) Use your product serial number - When I try that I get the following - "There are multiple registrations for the supplied Serial Number. If this is an LE version of a Cakewalk product please use Option 1 or 2 to recover your registration code. For further assistance please contact Cakewalk Customer Service at 1-888-CAKEWALK or via email"
When I try to email Customer Support for help, I get the following error - "We're sorry , some kind of error has occured and we were not able to deliver your message. Please try sending your inquiry again or call us directly at 1-888-CAKEWALK"
I've tried sending this email again and get the same error. Now, As I live outside of the USA, the cost of me phoning the 1-888 number would be absolutely extortionate. With that in mind, i'm hoping that someone from customer support could help me out by sending me a PM regarding how I might obtain my registration code to allow me to activate the product please.
