X1 and X2 CWP shutdown and file change

X1 and X2 CWP shutdown and file change

Is there anyone out there who may know why or what could have caused my Cwp. project to change to a read file. When I click on a project song cwp. Sonar producer X2 shuts down. When I go to my c drive and check the song I'm working on the icon looks like a page, when I click on properties it reads type of file CWP file(.cwp) opens with windows shell commor.I think somehow all my projects were changed to read files, and I know I did nothing to cause this.I still have sonar X1 and It's the same as in X2, all my projects (songs) are the same way.

    What's a read file? Do you mean read-only? It sounds to me like you changed the default program for CWP files to something besides Sonar. Start Sonar, and do a file-open on one of your CWP files and see if that works. If that's the case, then you just need to set the default program for CWP files back to Sonar which can be done in the Windows Explorer.

    Dave I spoke to the tech dept, and I decided to do a uninstall and Install. Earlier I uninstalled an earlier version of sonar and may have corrupted some shared files. after the Install every thing seems to be working well, thanks for your input.
