Quantize automation nodes

This question is twofold so please bear with me. First off, is there ANY way to quantize automation nodes (automation snap) Is it possible that a CAL script could perform this task or am I way off the mark? I've been planning to get X2 producer (currently 6 Producer)but if quantization hasn't been implimented with the other automation improvements I may have to do the unthinkable and jump ship to Cubase or Pro Tools, both of which offer automation quantization (along with Reason,Ableton,Logic and even Fruity loops) Ideally I'd like to stay with Sonar (I've been onboard since home studio 5) Hopefully someone can help, Thanks

You can snap automation nodes as you move them both horizontally to snap points of your choice and vertically (to prior nodes and flat envelope spots) but it isn't automatic like a select all and then quantize.

Yeah. I'm on about effect automation produced by frantic knob twiddling so manually tightening every node would take forever. Thanks for the reply though. If all else fails :)

There is a Cal somewhere (or is it a process? Can't remember and I'm not at my DAW) but it's called something like "Thin controller data"

It won't actually quantize your automation but it will reduce the number of nodes to something more manageable.
