When will cakewalk release new SDK?

Appears the ACT SDK for instance uses .NET 2005 and was released in 2008.
When will Cakewalk release an update?

    Actually I think that's a very good question, although I doubt 2% of users care or need to know what the SDK does.
    I've tried to install VB and learn to edit SDK control files; as yet it has remained "out of reach".
    You can see by my sig that I am an FW1884 user, and Tascam has promised no further development (VS-700 users; "I feel your pain").
    We (FW users) are fine running Win 7, BUT like the VS and MCU (and Makie clone) users, integration with ProChannel is woefully inadequate.
    Is an SDK update what's needed to get the VS and Makie protocol working with Sonar X?
