Posting a sample of my live recording

A while back I posted questions about doing a live-band recording and I got a lot of good responses and help --- Thank you!!! A few people asked if I might post some of the results for sharing /feedback, etc. My question --- since the track(s) will be cover songs, can I post w/o a complicated permission process? part II of question: How should I upload it? ---I have an page on Soundclick / Soundcloud, but since it's not my own music, not sure if I can do that......

Soundcloud lets you designate a file as private rather than public, meaning the only people who can see it are those to whom you've provided a direct link. That's an easy way to avoid potential copyright hassles when all you want to do is enlist your online comrades to hear and critique something.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
