Mastering: Sonar Home Studio 7XL

Hello folks hope you are all well.

I want to take a fresh look at the way I master in HS7XL and was wondering, in your opinion, if HS7XL has the right plug ins out of the box to do a passable job or are others needed?

I'm hearing a lot about Ozone, but I understand there's a lot of free stuff that's particularly good on mastering. Any recommendations guys? What plugins do you use for mastering?

Thanks

YC

I use Ozone but Ozone *can* cause as many problems as it solves if not use correctly.

for free stuff, go over to kvraudio.com and search for free ones.

but beware, some free VSTs can cause HS to crash.  some are fantastic, tho.

there are some quality free ones at www.voxengo.com
