How to play E-MU Proteus Pack in X2

I have sonar x2 and I purchased the E-MU Proteus Pack. I have a apro-500 hooked up to sonar. I have installed the emu pack and can't seem to find any of it from within sonar x2. Anyone have a walk through as to how to find and play the sounds with my apro in x2?

    1. In SONAR, choose Insert > Soft Synth from the main menu.
    2. Choose Dimension Pro as the synth you want to insert.
    3. In the dialog box, choose the Simple Instrument Track and Synth Property Page options. Click OK.
    4. When the Dimension Pro interface opens, click in the blank space near the top-left where it says Empty Program to open the Program Browser.
    5. You should see the Emu presets there. If not, press F5 on your PC keyboard to refresh the listing.
    6. Double-click a preset to load it into Dimension Pro.

You should now be able to start playing with the sounds.

For some additional information on working with soft synths in SONAR, check out this free video... it focuses on the DreamStation synth, but the information can be used with most other synths...

    I only see Dimension LE.
I selected it and went through your steps, but there are no EMU sounds listed. I tried f5 and a reboot, no change, nothing from my emu discs that were installed.

what version of windows are you using ?

if it's 7 etc.. make sure folders are UNHIDDEN in folder options in windows , as IRC some of the data goes in "program data"

you should be able to get at least "prog" files up even if the patches don't work.. so you need to locate both where the programs are stored + multi samples..

in Dim pro, you should be able to load patch, it's at the top.. from there that'll give you the prog data folder location.. also in the sfz, under again load.. that should give you multi sample location..
