<Feature Request>LowCut/HiCut Pro ChannelModule

I would love to see a very simple LowCut/HiCut Pro Channel module added to SONAR.

When I mix, one of the most common EQ applications is to roll off the lows before compressing a track. With only one QuadEQ you can't split out the LowCut and HiCut filters. For a standard mix channel strip I would like be able to setup my Pro Channel modules like this:

LowCut/HiCut->Compressor->QuadEQ

Currently I need to revert back to using a Sonitus EQ in the effects bin and switching the Pro Channel to Post FX bin. It would really streamline things to to have another simple EQ to put at the start of the Pro Channel chain. I have the Softube Mix bundle, and love those EQs but they are more specialized tools for me. I just need something really simple with hi and lo knobs that doesn't take up much vertical space on the Pro Channel.

    I agree and I mentioned this some time ago, although I don't see why we cant have 2 instances of the PC EQ. I really love the filters on that EQ. If they do Hi/Low pass then I would like it to be exactly like the one in the PC EQ.

    Although in X2 you can use FX chain in the PC, would still be nice to have a dedicated filter PC module.

    +2   A simplified version of the QuadCurve EQ would be a great addition.

    bedstrom, can you not just put the Sonitus EQ in a ProChannel FX chain? Or are you using an earlier version than X2?

    Yes, sure you can do it that way and I have. I still think having a simple Pro Channel FilterEQ would make the Pro Channel seem like a complete channel strip.

    Here is my custom Pro Channel FX chain that I currently use:

    The buttons turn on and off preset bass cuts in Sonitus EQ setup like this:

    However, what I am imagining is a new Pro Channel module that looks like the bottom part of the QuadEQ:
