I like simple arrangements with just guitar and vocals.  This has a live feel to it which give the performances an edge.  My only nit is small;  the whole mix is rather narrow panning wise.  I realize it's tempting to place everything near the center, but it wouldn't take anything away from this by spreading the vocals a bit, or even double tracking the guitar.  Nevertheless, this is a good song and recording.

    All the best,
    Lynn

Thanks Warrenlee & Lynn. We took that pick on our way to Nashville. I think it was Woodstock Virginia. Lynn, I actually had mixed it with a few acoustic guitar tracks panned which gave the guitars a wide feel, but seemed like the vocals were left thin. So I ended up opting for just one acoustic guitar track centered. For some reason no matter how hard I try, my mixes sound edgy/live not purposely though. Just can't seem to get away from that sound. Any thoughts on how to get away from it? Thanks all. Bobby

Beautiful!  I agree with Lynn about the vocals seeming a little thin, but I don't have a clue how to fix that.  Maybe even just a little more volume, for one thing.

Anyway, great harmonies, singing and playing!
